  • ChemEpoxy

ChemicalResistanceChart-WBJetEpoxyChemEpoxy is a versatile fast low-temperature curing Novalac epoxy with excellent chemical resistance such as resistance to 98% sulfuric and 37% HCL acids. It provides superior resistance to water spotting, even under adverse conditions, and is DOT noncorrosive. This material is used in industrial flooring, chemically resistant tank linings, chemical handling equipment, chemical storage vessels and marine environments. It is used on metal, wood, fiberglass, concrete, masonry and other difficult to coat low temperature surfaces requiring a tough chemical resistant coating.

ChemEpoxy is 2-component mixture which may be applied using roller, brush or low-pressure pot spray. This material is to be used directly on clean dry contaminant-free surfaces and becomes tack free within 1 hour depending on ambient humidity and temperature. Full cure is achieved under normal drying humidity in 7 days at ambient temperature.

  • EpoxyInjection

EpoxyInjection is a 2-component, 100% solids, toughened low-viscosity epoxy injection formulation specifically designed for in-place resin injection for cracked concreted structures such as dams, locks, canals, power plants, water reservoirs, water treatment facilities, foundations, parking garages, aqueducts, etc. This low viscosity epoxy is pumped into holes and cracks to create waterstops in weakened concrete infrastructure systems. It provides excellent adhesive characteristics while exhibiting good chemical resistance, water infiltration and exfiltration resistance. It exhibits low odor emissions, 0% VOCs, long working time, excellent cure at low temperatures and high humidities, superior hardness and low viscosity for high-penetrating injection. This material will bond to concretes, masonary and metals.

Epoxy Injection may be applied using plural component mixing pumping systems or conventional pressure pot/mix systems at a 2:1 dispensing ratio. This 2K epoxy injection material adds strength or structrual preservation to the concrete system when fully cured. Its cure times may be adjusted for specific difficult applications. It conforms to ASTM C-881, Types I, II, IV adhesive, Grade-1, Class C and AASHTO M-235 specifications.

Please contact our technical support group for specific substrate application procedures, equipment, safety gear and clean-up kits. Refer to MSDS for material and safety standard procedures.

  • Jet Epoxy

Jet Epoxy is a quick set 100% solids self leveling toughened epoxy. It provides excellent adhesive characteristics while exhibiting good chemical, moisture and UV resistance. It can be used as a primer or as a final top-coat. It may be used in confined areas as it emits very low odor emissions. This material is used on metal, wood, fiberglass, concrete, masonry and other difficult to coat surfaces requiring a tough exterior coating. It may also be formulated with anti-corrosion additives to protect ferrous metals from oxidation.

Jet Epoxy may be applied using pressure pot or air-less spray, roll-on or brush-on. This 2K epoxy system finishes glossy smooth when fully cured. This material is to be used directly on clean dry surfaces and becomes tack free within 1 hour depending on ambient humidity and temperature. It is an excellent primer backbone for all SuperSkinSystems’ super-polymers and general topcoats. It retains a wide functional temperature range while yielding good flexibility from 25F to 150F. Full cure is achieved under normal drying conditions in 24 hours.

Jet Epoxy is available in 3 primary formulations:
    289: clear and fast
    351: low temp fast cure
    319: clear slow top coat

Please contact our technical support group for specific substrate application procedures, equipment, safety gear and clean-up kits. Refer to MSDS for material and safety standard procedures.

  • Silicone Epoxy

Silicone Epoxy is a high temperature epoxy with excellent chemical resistance. It provides superior resistance to water spotting, even under adverse conditions and is DOT noncorrosive. This material is used in industrial flooring, chemically resistant tank linings, chemical handling equipment, chemical storage vessels and marine environments. It is used on metal, wood, fiberglass, concrete, masonry and other difficult to coat surfaces requiring a tough chemical resistant coating. Silicone Epoxy is optically clear and has excellent UV Resistance. It has outstanding temperature resistance allowing it to be used up to 400°F.

  • WB Jet Epoxy

WB Jet Epoxy is a water-based epoxy curing agent that lets you create unique microporous systems that are breathable and water vapor permeable preventing delamination and blistering. This means floors can be laid and returned to service quickly, without the extra costs involved with reducing moisture content of the concrete. It is based on a polymeric emulsion and, as a result, provides superior performance for a wide range of applications. It has been developed primarily for use with liquid epoxy resins, out-performing solid emulsion-based systems by offering the capability to formulate systems with zero VOC and without resin emulsifiers.

  • WBE-2

WBE2 is a clear or pigmented 2- component water based aliphatic epoxy formulation with excellent chemical and UV resistance. WBE2 has great adhesion to most substrates such as concrete, metals and asphalt. There is no odor or vocs allowing it to use for inside applications. It is available with 50% nano size glass filler , anti static , anti-microbial, and anti-corrosive additives. WBE2 can be used as a primer and can be diluted with 25% water to penetrate porous concrete. WBE2 dries to a high gloss top coat . The glass filled dries to a matte finish with a nonskid finish.

WBE2 dries very fast depending on temperature , humidity and thickness. Typical drying times are 15 minutes with up to 8 hour pot life. WBE2 may be sprayed, brushed or rolled. Tack free at 75F is 15-30 minutes. At temperatures of 50F tack free times maybe 2 hours. Rolling should be done with a short knap roller. Typical use temperatures are between 25-150F . Full cure should be 24 hours.

WBE2 can be made with ESD ( electric static discharge) additives. Its available in clear or pigmented. Unlike other ESD resins which use carbon fibers , WBE2 does not need them . ESD materials are used in clean rooms  or where sparks may cause serious problems.

Please contact our technical support group for specific substrate application procedures, equipment, safety gear and clean-up kits. Refer to SDS for material and safety standard procedures.

  • WBSE-3

WBSE-3 is the next version of our WBE-2. It has the same characteristics as WBE-2 with long pot life up to 8 hours after mixing A & B, tack free times of under 20 minutes, fast cure times in 16 mil or less film thickness, but has a Silicone backbone built into the Hardener. This enables the WBSE-3 to have higher temperature better chemical, higher gloss, optically clear and better UV resistance.

WSBE-3 can also come with Nano size glass filler similar to WBE-2. Glass filled WBSE-3 has a matte finish and non-skid surface. The ratio of Resin to Hardener is 1 resin to 1 hardener without glass. The glass is premeasured so it an be added to the A&B mix with a jiffy mixer. WBSE-3 can be used on concrete, asphalt, steel, aluminum, and wood. Colors are available, simply send in a pantone, RAL, or SW color number. Surface preparation is still the same as WBE-2. Like all water based products freeze protection is required for shipping.

Please contact our technical support group for specific substrate application procedures, equipment, safety gear and clean-up kits. Refer to SDS for material and safety standard procedures.

WBE-3 can withstand up to 5 freeze/thaw cycles
