• Ground Glass Powder

    SSS Ground Glass Powder is made from 100% recycled glass occurring in laminated glass (primarily automotive windshields). The product is gray colored powder with a uniform particle size distribution. SSS Ground Glass Powder is amorphous and contains no crystalline silica and provides a clean post-consumer filler for polymer-based systems. This filler impart excellent abrasion resistance and chemical stability to coatings and other polymer systems. SSS Ground Glass Powder processing system provides consistent product quality with fineness covering a range of potential applications. Product is screened and shows average size particles of Mesh 325.

  • H-100

    H100 is an aromatic diamine that has been modified to have epoxy linkage on the tail. H100 can be incorporated in polyurea, polyurethane and used as a hardner for epoxy.

  • HardSkin

    HardSkin is an industrial abrasion resistant spray coating to be used over low density substrates such as polystyrene foam and polyurethane foams which require exterior surface hardnesses up to 70 Shore D. It also provides excellent chemical and moisture resistance and is available with fire retardants to meet E84 Class I. This material is a two component 100% solids and contains no VOCs or solvents. These specialized formulations deliver optimal curing application in very cold or hot climates. HardSkin is paintable and impact resistant.

    HardSkin is normally applied by a 2K high pressure plural component pumping machine with hose and primary heat set at 150F. It becomes tack free in 15-20 sec., full cure in 48 hrs. and delivers a functional temperature range of -20F to 200F. This material may also be applied by hand-held cartridge gun used at room temperature.

  • I-Skin Foam

    I-Skin Foam (Integral-Skin) is a high performance self-skinning foam designed for toughness and durability. Its hardness ranges from semi-rigid to sponge-soft to provide for multi-versatile applications such as commercial impact floor mats, seating cushions, vibration insulators, rigid impact panels, sports equipment, soft/rigid play toys, etc. It may be formulated in any color and many densities to accommodate very specific requirements.

    This unique foam exhibits very low compression set while providing dimensional stability through its wide operating temperature range. I-Skin Foam is formulated from special MDI prepolymers to create very fast molding cycles. It is available using water or gas blown formulations. I-skin can also be formulated to meet CAL 117, MVSS 302 and FAR 25.853a

  • Jet Epoxy

    Jet Epoxy is a quick set 100% solids self leveling toughened epoxy. It provides excellent adhesive characteristics while exhibiting good chemical, moisture and UV resistance. It can be used as a primer or as a final top-coat. It may be used in confined areas as it emits very low odor emissions. This material is used on metal, wood, fiberglass, concrete, masonry and other difficult to coat surfaces requiring a tough exterior coating. It may also be formulated with anti-corrosion additives to protect ferrous metals from oxidation.

    Jet Epoxy may be applied using pressure pot or air-less spray, roll-on or brush-on. This 2K epoxy system finishes glossy smooth when fully cured. This material is to be used directly on clean dry surfaces and becomes tack free within 1 hour depending on ambient humidity and temperature. It is an excellent primer backbone for all SuperSkinSystems’ super-polymers and general topcoats. It retains a wide functional temperature range while yielding good flexibility from 25F to 150F. Full cure is achieved under normal drying conditions in 24 hours.

    Jet Epoxy is available in 3 primary formulations:
    289: clear and fast
    351: low temp fast cure
    319: clear slow top coat

  • JointSeal

    ChemicalResistance-ClearSkin (1)Joint Seal is a 2-component elastomeric sealing polymer system designed to act as a crack filler primarily in concrete. This material provides exceptional adhesion characteristics and fast cure times. It is highly chemical resistant, insensitive to water, abrasion resistant and remains thermally stable in a range of -20°F (-29 C) to 250°F (125 C). It may be used under traditional floor coatings or any of our top-coating materials. Joint Seal is used in heavy traffic warehouse floors, refrigeration floors, chemical spill prone floors, pothole road repair or under ceramic tile floors. It meets FDA regulations for indirect food contact (CFR 21, Sec. 175-300).

  • MACE-Flex

    Mace-Flex is an aliphatic 1-component self-crosslinking waterborne formulation delivering excellent chemical and water resistance while providing good abrasion resistance and fast-setting properties.
    Mace-Flex or Mace-Regular is designed to be solvent-free and used as a tough exterior topcoat, sealer or as an underlying penetrating primer. The penetrating nature of this material promotes its use for direct topcoating on porous and non-porous substrates masonary, wood, non-glazed tile, stucco, metal, composites and certain polymers. These materials may also be used as a primer in many SuperSkin System’s coating applications.

    Mace is an air-dry system where it is normally spray or roll applied. This low viscosity dispersion dries clear and flexible in 10-15 minutes acquiring full-cure in 24 hrs or maybe forced dried at elevated temperatures. Mace-Flex provides up to 200% elongation with a tensile strength of 2400 psi. Acrylic color pigments and thickener additives may also be included to enhance its widely diversified use.

  • Pole-Setting Rigid Foam

    Pole Setting Foam is designed specifically for fast-setting structural pole-setting applications such as utility/telephone poles, flag poles, fence posts, etc. It is a tough 100% solids non-hydrophilic 6 pcf foam formulation exhibiting 100 psi compressive strength to provide secure fast-installations. The foam may be used directly in holes which contain a water volume of less than 5% of the total hole volume. It delivers excellent chemical resistance and may be applied in dirt having a wide pH range. For special applications a 9.0 PCF density is also available with the same characteristics, but higher compression strength.

    Pole-Setting Foam is mixed 1:1 using a hand-held drill jiffy mixer until both components mix into a uniform color (approx 1min). It is then poured directly around the pole into the surrounding hole which obtains a firm material set-up within 15 minutes. The foam may be covered with dirt immediately after it becomes rigid to the touch. It will not be damaged by rain after this point. Material reactivity time may be adjusted to accommodate specific demanding application environments if requested.   • Pouring Foams

    Pouring Foams are a family of rigid water-blown foams designed especially for pour casting into molds to create very intricate very diverse parts. These pouring foam formulations may be custom blended to offer unique mechanical, thermal, non-burning, high compressive/shear strength properties along with specifically designed reactivity molding times such as creme time, gel time, tack-free and overall cure time. SuperSkinSystems offers these properties in a wide range of foam densities. Typical density pouring foams ranges from 2-10 pcf. These foams may also be colored and/or include bio-based polyols to be considered “a green product”. These pour casting foams are seen in a variety of applications in very diverse industries such as architectural wall and decorative part moldings, furniture and toy markets, specialty part moldings etc. Densities of 2-3 pcf have been tested to MIL-P21929C.

  • Primer 28 (Rigid or Flex)

    Primer 28 is a one-component primer used primarily for concrete substrates and other inherently dust prone applications. It is available in Rigid or Flexible formulations. It is a moisture-cure solvent based polyisocyanate which is reduced 3:1 using Xylene, Naptha Aromatic 100, Butyl Acetate or MEK. This primer may be also formulated with zinc to provide galvanic protection when used in industrial metal assemblies. It is ideal for polyurea or polyaspartic topcoats which require high performance adhesive characteristics. It is normally used in demanding environments such as coastal marine, industrial chemical processing and oily water treatment plants where superior adhesion is required. Top-Coats include SuperSkinSytems’ polyurea coatings as well as other top coating systems such as uethanes, enamels or acrylics. If application surface retains extensive corrosion, normal forms of media blasting is recommended to create a secure surface preparation. PRIMER 28 is applied in thin coats and quickly flashes off to a dry-tacky touch in minutes depending on relative humidity and temperature. If the primer becomes totally dry or exceeds the max working application window of 24 hrs then a quick recoat will be necessary. Top coating must be applied to the primer while in a tacky wet to tacky dry state.

  • Primer 30

    Primer 30 is a unique single component multi-purpose penetratrating primer to be used to support all SuperSkinSystems’ topcoat systems. It provides excellent sealing capabilities on porous and non-porous substrates such as concrete, wood, stucco, metals, fiberglass, non-glazed tile, old painted surfaces, oxidized epdm membranes, masonary, plaster, etc. The primer is ready to use and does not require the use of solvents such as Primer 28. Material fast cure Mek 1:1 slow aromatic 100. It is very robust and versatile and can be applied to not so perfectly prepped surfaces although the sufaces still be cleaned from contaminates such as oils, loose debris, dirt, waxes, etc. In general, this all-purpose primer delivers optimum adhesive characteristics combined with an extended window of application time prior to the application of topcoats. This primer may also be formulated with corrosion inhibitors is desired.   • RailSkin™

    RailSkin™ polyurea is an extremely tough abrasion resistant super-polymer designed to protect the interior of steel or aluminium rail cars which are used to haul harsh aggregates such as coal, rock, salt, land-fill materials, etc. This 2k 1A:1B material provides superior tear and impact strength while delivering a high degree of corrosion resistance. RailTuff is a non-breathable polyurea which eliminates water vapor transmission to underlying surfaces to prevent the undelying metals from oxidizing. RailSkin may also be used in many other industrial and harsh environments.

  • Rapid 1K

    Rapid 1K is an aliphatic 1-component waterborne formulation delivering good chemical and water resistance while providing good abrasion resistance and fast-setting properties. It is designed to be used as a primer or topcoat sealer. This material is 42% solids and can be used on porous and non-porous substrates. This material is available in flexible, semi-flexible or rigid film.

    Rapid 1K is an air-dry system where it is normally roll applied. This low viscosity dispersion dries clear and flexible in 10-15 minutes acquiring full-cure in 24 hrs or maybe forced dried at elevated temperatures. Rapid 1K-Topcoat is available in medium to high elongation formulations where flexibility is demanded. The high-flex version provides up to 600% elongation with a tensile strength of 2400 psi while the the medium-flex allows for 100%. Pigments and thickener additives may also be included to enhance its use.

  • Rapid Soil Stabilizer

    Rapid Soil Stabilizer is a long-lasting UV stable 1-component cross-linked waterborne formulation delivering excellent chemical and water resistance. It is designed specifically for controlling heavy dust areas generated by aircraft, road traffic, construction site and areas prone to high gusting winds. Superior performance is achieved when the micro-polymers coalesce as water dissipates from the carrier system. High strength bonding forms between the soil and aggregate particles. The water-resistant co-polymer matrix dries clear and transparent leaving the natural landscape appearance.

    Soil, sand and and harsh dust control are the primary applications for this engineered polymer. The micro-penetrating nature of this 30% solids material promotes its use for priming and sealing of masonry, wood, stucco and other porous substrates. This material may also be used as a primer in many SuperSkinSystem’s coating applications.

    Rapid Soil Stabilizer is a spray applied solvent-free low viscosity dispersion which dries clear and flexible in 1 hour at room temperature. The product is odorless, non-hazardous, non-flammable and environmentally safe. Color pigments may be added to visually determine when re-coating is necessary. It is non-tracking, non-leaching and animal safe. It will not wash away with rain once cured continually providing a superior micron dust-net.

  • Rigid Building Foams

    Rigid Building Foams offer a unique blend of properties which yield excellent mechanical and thermally efficient structures. SSFR foams deliver high compressive/shear strength, insulating capacity, overall toughness and impact resistance. Their high performance strength to weight ratio densities produce a wide range of applications for very diverse industries. As an energy saving material yielding very high insulating values, paralleled with its sound absorbing capability it has seen much use in the architectural and construction industries. Rigid foams are applied in spray or casting formats. Pour casting diversifies its uses to the areas of consumer products manufacturing, mold making, marine docks, flotation, void fill, artwork carving and many industrial and commercial industries. SSFRs may be subsequently color top-coated, textured and clear coated to handle extensive outdoor rugged environments using the ClearSkin system. These materials maintain dimensional stability and will not deform or distort within operating temperature of -100F to 200F. Fire retardant formulations are used in structural public buildings and warehouses. Installation cure times range from 30 sec. to 30 min. depending on application method (spray vs. pour), ambient temperature and humidity. Pour foam applications require longer cure times and caution must be taken for large castings due to inherent exothermic reaction process. SSFRs utilize a standard 2-component liquid pumping machine for both the spray and pour methods of dispensing. Volumetric expansion of SSFR may be formulated up to 140x relative to its original volume depending on required application densities. Densities of 2-3 pcf have been tested to MIL-P21929C.

    The Rigid Building Foams are water or gas blown (245 or Pentane) fast-set materials typically used for air-tight insulation applications due to their closed-cellular nature. These foams are premium building products which contribute structural integrity with moisture, air and chemical vapor barrier integrity. High insulating values are attibuted with these foams and as such are commonly in roof, wall and floor insulation applications, commercial freezers and all energy saving applications where high thermal insulating requirements are mandated. Values vary relative to foam densities. Foam coverage per sq.ft. will vary relative to the density also as governed by expansion characteristics, the ambient spray temperature and the substrate temperature.

  • Roto-Molding Resins

    RotoMolding Resins are specifically formulated 2-component 100% solids hybrid polyurea-based material designed to produce dimensionally stable, structural hollow part moldings. This material is normally batch-mixed and poured into hollow room-temp mold. Solidification times may be tailored to accommodate large part or intricate moldings. Casting material is normally applied at room temperature. Resins may be colored-tinted as well as durometers may be formulated to range from 60A-75D. Resins may be neat or filled to meet material shrinkage requirements (1% to 0.5% respectively). Material formulations functional operation temperatures may be formulated to range from -20°F to 200°F.

  • Saddle Foam

    Saddle Foam is a unique fast-build 2-component multi-purpose 3.0 pcf structural foam designed specifically for pipeline trench retainment and pipe saddle suspension applications.  This tough foam provides excellent uniform cellular foaming to quickly build high strength rigid barriers. The cured foam is hydrophobic, tough and resilient to cracking. It provides excellent bonding to many porous and non-porous substrates such as concrete, metals, fiberglass etc. Specific formulations may be obtained to properly fit demanding applications.   • Sealer-9

    Sealer-9 is a flexible one-component 9% NCO isocyanate based sealer used primarily for sealing concrete and other porous cementuous substrates. It provides a tough moisture-curing penetrating film which may be solvent reduced up to 40% using Xylene, Naptha Aromatic 100, Butyl Acetate or MEK.

    Sealer-9 is applied in thin wets coats and quickly flashes off to a dry-tacky touch in minutes depending on relative humidity and temperature.   • Silicone Epoxy

    Silicone Epoxy is a high temperature epoxy with excellent chemical resistance. It provides superior resistance to water spotting, even under adverse conditions and is DOT noncorrosive. This material is used in industrial flooring, chemically resistant tank linings, chemical handling equipment, chemical storage vessels and marine environments. It is used on metal, wood, fiberglass, concrete, masonry and other difficult to coat surfaces requiring a tough chemical resistant coating. Silicone Epoxy is optically clear and has excellent UV Resistance. It has outstanding temperature resistance allowing it to be used up to 400°F.
